Our participation at trade shows

  • SCAE "Wonderful Coffee" show in Copenhagen (19 to 22 June 2008)  Logo SCAE

SCAEThis new edition of the SCAE trade show, which was held this year in Copenhagen, brought together the most important players in the coffee world.
This show was home to the WBC (World Barista Championship) finals, in which representatives from 51 countries around the world faced off.
This year, the outstanding top-level competition crowned the Irish champion Stephen Morrisey. Congratulations to all the baristas, and in particular, to our friends Soren Stiller Markussen and Thomas Schiessl who represented Denmark and Germany, respectively. Thanks to all of the visitors who visited our booth to discover our new range of machines!
  • FHA trade show in Singapore (22 to 25 April 2008) Logo FHA

FHAReneka participated in the international food and beverage trade show in Singapore in collaboration with our partner in this operation, Mahlkoenig, producer of high-end coffee grinders. We were able to present our new machines such as Mosaic, Streamline and Amici to the Asian market. It was also an opportunity to meet up with new clients and we thank all the people who visited us at our stand.

Handmade in Rosheim

Made in Alsace since the brand's beginnings in 1927, reneka coffee machines are witnesses of our love for work well-done. The materials and all the parts are carefully selected and are proof of the quality of Alsatian production.

After our premises moved in 2001, the production methods were rationalized. The quality approach on our assembly  lines helps instill responsibility in all of our technicians who are in charge of assemblying the machines.

Each machine is assembled by the same technician from the beginning of the assembly phase until the testing phase, thus allowing us to better track  the quality and obtain greater implication from our collaborators.

At the end of production and, in order to complete our quality controls, all of the machines undergo a series of complete tests (hydraulic, electronic, etc) in order to guarantee optimal quality. These tests are conducted by specialized technicians.

Interview with our Thai partner P&F Coffee

Considered to be one of the espresso machine commercialization leaders in France, reneka has been developing its international business for more than ten years. After Europe and the United States, Asia is where we have new partners including P&F Coffee in Thailand.

A short glimpse of Sirada Techakaroon, the owner

What is the status of the espresso machine market in Thailand?

The espresso machine market in Thailand is nothing like the one in France or even in Europe. The market is literally exploding and we are right in the middle of a growth phase and are slowly becoming major espresso drinkers. Coffee was truly introduced on our continent some ten years ago and since then, young people see it as a trendy drink.

How did you get to know the reneka brand?

We found out about the reneka brand through the enthusiasm of coffee aficionados in forums and in the coffee world thanks to the Techno machine. So, we visited the reneka website and quickly got into contact with the export service to begin a partnership.

How long have you been representing the reneka brand in Thailand ?

We habe been commercializing reneka machines since November 2005 throughout Thailand after wanting to work with this brand for a long time. Year after year since we began this collaboration, our sales have not stopped growing and we hope to reach 60 machines in 2008.

What do you like best about reneka ?

We really appreciate the technology, the design as well as the finishing of reneka machines.

In your opinion, what are the strengths of reneka machines ?

If you need to be the best on the market, quality and reliability are essential. By working with reneka, we are sure that the level of quality is the same for all the machines, especially as far as design and machine components.

Mission he was entrusted with :
  • Coordinating the production team
First impression of the coffee sector : I began working at reneka when the machines were still being piston assembled. 28 years later, they are no longer piston machines, but rather injection machines. What an evolution for the coffee machine, its design, its electronics...
Although we are in a market where the competition has grown, reneka puts all of its human potential towards conquering new markets.

What I love about coffee : I really love peacefully enjoying an espresso with friends; I think it is very convivial and essential at the end of a meal. Moreover, with aromatic Pod system, we discover new tastes like vanilla, nut...and even orange which may be surprising, but it's delicious.

My favorite reneka machine : There are two models I really like: the Viva S because of its technology and the Viva e because of its easy maintenance.

My ambition for reneka : To grow on certain markets like the Asian market, but also to remain one of the leaders on the french market.
