Reneka projects:
"We have launched several work projects during these first months of 2009.
In our marketing plan, we have gone twice to India to participate in exhibitions
in Mumbai and Delhi in order to try to gain a better understanding of
this vast, yet still underdeveloped market as far as espresso
consumption habits.
We also participated in the Gulfood fair in Dubai in February in order to get some contacts, we have to become proactive and position our brand in the economic landscape of the Middle East.
A prospecting study on Brazil was conducted in March and more travel will be planned this year to follow up on the contacts that were developed there.

In
France, our new Mosaic line quickly strengthened its presence and has
opened up new sales opportunity thanks to the coffee extraction quality,
its price range and its flattering design.
The
Viva S line was also technically revisited, having introduced new
features such as the anti-Pics system, a timer to help
confirm the grinder settings, an automatic purge system, etc.
We would like to continuously come up with improvements for the Viva S in order to make it into one of the most successful machines on the market as far as performance related to the quality of the extraction into the cup. With its current version, we can claim that the capacity of the Viva S to produce very thermally stable coffee is excellent. Many lab tests conducted confirmed that it is able to perform extractions at different temperature ranges all while being able to generate enough steam to make many milk based drinks.

hope that we have given enough reasons inspiring you in working together and we will try
to provide you with answers that are best suited to your needs. Please

service."

Our participation at trade shows:
HOSTS fair in Mumbaï (Bombay) / India - January 2009
It was our first experience on the Indian market and what a discovery! The building complex which hosted this show had been built from scratch for the event, and will be completely dismantled afterwards.
However we were able to sell to restaurants all the equipments brought in for the show and carry out the first installations and technical trainings.
A lot of work to come for our local partner RIC Hospitality!

GULFOOD fair in Dubai / United Arabs Emirates - February 2009
The
14th edition of the Gulfood fair took place in Dubai in last February.Gulfood, the Middle East's largest food exhibition and one of the world's leading exhibitions covering food, drinkfood service and hospitality recorded an outstanding 16 percent increase in visitor attendance, counting 45 000 visitors from approximately 150 countries around the world.
Showcased within the French pavilion, we were able to meet local well-positionned industry players.
The models MOSAIC, VIVA S and especially STREAMLINE charmed many of the attendees!
Thanks to this show, several partnerships have been engaged with local companies. We welcome our new partners from this region!

Our partner Doing International Ltd, in South Korea:
In 1990, Dae Bo Inc. changed its name to Doing International Ltd and became one of the main suppliers of coffee and kitchen equipment for Hotels, Restaurants, Fast Food chains and petrol stations all over the country.
Doing International Ltd currently employs more than fifty people spread among its headquarters in Seoul and the 9 South Korean branches throughout the country.
Interview with Mr G.R. Yoon, Doing International Director:
What is the status of the espresso machine market in South Korea?
Despite the current economic situation, the number of franchised selling
points to chains or large international groups, continues to rise in South Korea.
However, the independent stores have more difficulties remaining competitive and tend to decrease.
However, the independent stores have more difficulties remaining competitive and tend to decrease.
How long have you been representing the reneka brand in South Korea?
It is 12 years that we are working together. Our partnership has been made official by the signature of a contract in 2001.
What do you appreciate about reneka?
We have very good business relations and communication has always been good between us. Moreover the friendly tone of the director is greatly appreciated.
I think that a trustworthy relation has been established over the years between reneka and Doing International.
Of course we also appreciate reneka for its products. Machines offer an original design which immediately identifies the brand. Furthermore, reneka being a French brand and for many customers in South Korea is perceived of higher quality than Italian machines.

In your opinion, what are reneka's strengths?
One of the major advantages of reneka is that their product lines - price range is very competitive in respect to the competition, particularly with Italian brands. Moreover, the delivery deadlines are short and respected - something to value greatly.
Another key point, reneka provides very complete trainings on its new products, in terms of features, maintenance and machine installations.

What I love about coffee:
Besides its taste, I appreciate the aspect, the colour, the
rich crema and the aromas which spring from a good expresso.
My favourite reneka machine: The
latest reneka innovation, STREAMLINE, is without a doubt my favourite
machine. Its retro design, its all-stainless steel body, illuminated
sides and back panels, besides its technical features,
make the STREAMLINE a sublime machine!
What I love about my job:
I like challenges, finding the solution to a
problem. I like exploring new ideas, testing new methods, having THE good idea which will make things move forward.
My impressions regarding the coffee trade: I
think that this trade still awaits some surprises. With almost 30
years in the business, I witnessed multiple technical and technological
evolutions. Every day, we try to perfect our machines by bringing new developments. I am very curious to see where we will stand 30 years from now!
My
ambitions for reneka: With
the current economic situation, I think it is important to double our efforts to
dissociate ourselves from our competitors and offer consumers an appropriate product
which suit their needs, taking current difficulties into account.
It seems important for me to pursue our international expansion but also to strengthen our position on the French market.
